Vocational schools and technical colleges should be a well-oiled partnership between government and private sector industry working together to bring educated, motivated workers to the needed jobs. Two-year degree schools are the backbone of America’s workforce because the jobs they train for jobs, which demand a high degree of technical knowledge, and these are jobs that have to be done for our economy to run smoothly.
